Eagle Coach Unveils Dignified Travel for Cremated Remains

With cremation on the rise, Eagle Coach Company created a dignified way to transfer cremated remains from funeral services to their final resting place.

The urn enclave was designed to make the coach a more versatile vehicle. Hand-crafted in identical wood and steel products to match the interior of each coach, it is integrated into the coach floor. The urn enclave flips open for urn transportation and folds down into the casket floor for traditional processions.

“We wanted to make sure these families had the same dignified processions that traditional casket funerals have,” says Eagle Coach general manager Mike McKiernan. “It’s our way of making sure everyone gets the honor they are entitled to.”

The urn enclave comes standard on the new Echelon Limited and is optional on all other models. Portable urn enclaves are also available for funeral directors who wish to extend the service of their existing coaches.
